The nonprofit Lucerne Valley Roadrunners organization is inviting community members to give gifts for the Roadrunners' annual toy giveaway, which will be held on December 22nd. Below, a letter from the Roadrunners tells more about how to give, or receive, gifts for our community children.
Dear Parents,
Christmas is coming and to make the holidays bright for all, each child should have at least one gift to open on Christmas day. The Lucerne Valley Roadrunners, a local nonprofit agency in our community, holds a toy giveaway each year to ensure that the children in need within our community have a very Merry Christmas.
So, let’s celebrate this season together and share a gift with a child in need. If you happen to have a little extra, please drop off a gift for a school-age child at the front office of the Lucerne Valley Elementary School, High School or at the Service counter in the Lucerne Valley market. If you happen to be a family in need of a gift for your child or children who would otherwise go without, you can sign up to receive a gift at the office of the Lucerne Valley Elementary School or at the Senior Center across from the library from November 27 thru December 15 from 10am - 1pm each weekday.
The Toy giveaway will be held at the Lucerne Valley Elementary School cafeteria on December 22 from 1pm to 4 PM. Thank you for your support in meeting the needs of our local families.
