Lucerne Valley Adult Education is offering free adult classes starting on August 20.
The following are offered:
1. Computer Based Courses: Complete your high school diploma or earn your GED
2. ESL Class: Improve your English speaking, reading and writing skills
3. Beginning Computer Class: Learn new or brush up on your computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
4. Intermediate Computer Class: Learn Adobe InDesign and PhotoShop
5. Employability Class: Learn how to apply for a job, write a resume, write a cover letter, interview skills, dress for success, and a thank you letter.
Enroll now at Lucerne Valley High School. See Mrs. Monson in Room E102 or call 760-248-2124, Ext. 1502 for an appointment. Mrs. Monson will be available most Mondays until July 9th from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Victor Valley Transportation Authority Day Bus Passes are available for adults that are having transportation problems. Bus passes will be passed out in August. For route and schedule information, call 760-948-3030 or visit www.vvta.org.
