Enrollment at the Lucerne Valley Unified School District is heading upward and district officials are optimistic the numbers will continue to climb.
“So we’ve bumped up 10 students since November,” Superintendent Peter Livingston said during the January 11 regular meeting of the Lucerne Valley Unified School District’s Board of Trustees. “We’re back on that upward trend again.... We’ve seen significant growth at the elementary school.”
Longtime school board member Tom Courtney summed up board members’ sentiments: “It’s exciting!”
