SARC

The following reports are issued under California State legal requirements as a summary of our compliance with Federal and State objectives for education.

The School Accountability Report Card (SARC) includes demographics, state test results, compliance information, and Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP)/Annual Performance Index (API) statistics which are used by the U.S. Department of Education for program improvement and funding. The report card is issued every Spring for the year prior (2017 SARCs are issued Spring 2018, 2016 SARCs are issued Spring 2017, etc.)

Hard copies of the SARC are available upon request from the District Office.

Critical: During 2015-2016 and 2016-2017, reporting measurements including AYP and API will be handled differently during the transition from STAR Exams to CAASPP. Scores from the STAR Exams in years prior cannot be compared to the new system, California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), which will affect measurements for the next few years.
A summary of the changes and how they affect each site are detailed in the SARC document for your school.
