  • Butterfly Breath: Practice breathing like a butterful. The activity explains three ways to breathe. Practice each way, answer the questions.
  • Draw a picture of you breathing like a butterfly or come up with a breathing technique of your own.
  • Mindful Walking: In stressful times, mindfulness will help keep you calm. This activity is another way to practice mindfulness. after you practice mindful walking, answer the questions on the worksheet.
  • Emoji Emotions: What does each emoji describe? In a complete sentence, explain what emotion each picture represents.
  • Design Your Own Emoji: What emotion would your emoji represent? Draw a picture and then explain why people should use this emoji.
  • Contellation of Sensations: Music that you like to dance to or listen to has a positive effect on how you feel. Play music you like to dance to. Stop it after 30 seconds and pay attentionto how your body feels - your heart, your toes, your arms, legs, mind, etc... Draw stars on the picture to show where the music made you feel the most sensations.
  • Answer the questions on the worksheet.

  • Activity with as many food options as you have available. The piece of food can be 1 inch by 1 inch, very small.
  • Make observations on Pasteur Activity.
  • It Evaporates: Read the short passage. Marke the important information.
  • Complete the Science Investigation.
  • Make observations on the Pasteur Activity.
  • Food Math Worksheet/Activity: Deign a menu for one day, choosing from the food on the worksheet. Once you have chosen your food, make the menu as a placemat, flier or brochure. Explain why you chose the foods you did.
  • Complete observations on Pasteur Activity.
  • Answer questions 4 and 5.
  • A Balancing act Handout: Complete the handout.
  • Make a collage of a healthy dinner. You can draw the pictures, take labels from food items, print them from the internet or cut them from a magazine. Glue, tape or staple the items to a paper plate or a circle cut from a pirece of paper. Label each food group.
  • Earth Day is April 22. Ine honor of Earth Day, answer the questions on the handout and then write a poem with the information you gathered.
