Cynthia Parker - Certificated
“Cynthia Parker is an exceptional math teacher and our dedicated Site Coach,” Mr. Livingston said. “She continually demonstrates a deep commitment to the success of both students and staff. In the classroom, Mrs. Parker delivers high-quality instruction that engages learners and builds strong mathematical understanding.
“Beyond her teaching responsibilities, she actively supports colleagues through meaningful professional development and consistently shares effective, innovative teaching strategies. This year, she has also taken on the important task of writing our Mid-Cycle WASC Report, approaching the work with thoroughness, insight, and professionalism. Her communication with staff is always clear, supportive, and collaborative, helping create a positive and productive school environment.
“Mrs. Parker is truly a team player—reliable, thoughtful, and always willing to step in where needed. We are fortunate to have her as part of our school community, and we appreciate the passion and dedication she brings to our campus every day.”
Zandra Miller - Classified
“Mrs. Miller has played a huge role in supporting our increase in attendance this past year,” Mr. Livingston said. “She has been keeping our independent study program running smoothly, by supporting teachers with organizing packets, gathering parent signatures, and ensuring everything was completed and ready for audits.”
This school year she started contacting parents directly about absences which has helped decrease the school’s SART and SARB meeting attendees. (School Attendance Review Team (SART) and the School Attendance Review Board (SARB) are methods that leverages school resources to support students in enhancing their attendance.)
“A matter of fact we have yet to SARB one student this school year,” Mr. Livingston said. “In addition to her work duties, Mrs. Miller also approaches every task with kindness, professionalism, and genuine support for families and staff. Her work has made a noticeable impact on our campus, and we are so grateful for all she does for LVES.”
