Adult Education Program Offers GED, Computer Classes

The Lucerne Valley Adult Education program, taught by Mrs. Nancy Monson, is offering open entry, open exit classes. High school diploma and GED classes are held every Monday and Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Open entry means you may enroll in this class at any time. When you earn your credits, you may exit the program. Once you are enrolled, the courses are Internet-based and can be completed in class or at home.
Mr. Rene Jaime, our English/Spanish speaking teacher, will be joining us for two hours every Tuesday starting March 13th.

The Computer Enrichment class, also taught by Mrs. Monson, is held every Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Students will explore Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some PhotoShop.

The Adult Education programs in the High Desert have partnered with Victor Valley College to bring expanded educational opportunities to adults. If you are interested, no pre-registration is required, just complete the application, and make arrangements to take the assessment test for Victor Valley College. If you have questions, call Mrs. Nancy Monson at 760-248-2124, Ext. 1502, or email: [email protected].
