The Lucerne Valley USD and Lucerne Valley Elementary School were both recognized earlier this year for the 2022 California Pivotal Practice Award.  On Thursday, June 9th school board members and Superintendent Peter Livingston celebrated the district receiving the award and official flag. John Cosato, who has served as a custodian for 26 years before retiring this month, was recognized for his devoted service by the Lucerne Valley Unified School District during the Thursday, June 9th meeting of the Board of Trustees. Superintendent Peter Livingston presented the award with personal acknowledgements by LVUSD Chief Business Official Douglas Beaton and members of the board. (June 10, 2022)

Adele McClain, who serves as an administrator for Apple Valley and Lucerne Valley Adult Education, was recognized as Employee of the Month for June at the Thursday, June 9th meeting of Lucerne Valley USD’s Board of Trustees. The award was presented by LVUSD Superintendent Peter Livingston. (June 10, 2022)
