Nutrition Services
At Lucerne Valley USD, the Nutrition Services Department, mission is to support the physical and mental well-being of every student, helping them fully engage in their educational experience.
School meals are critical to student learning and health—a well-nourished child is better able to focus, concentrate, and succeed in the classroom, while a hungry child is not. Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand!
Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year
Breakfast and lunch will continue to be offered FREE of charge for all LVUSD students at no cost for the 2025/26 school year, thanks to the California Universal Meals Program (AB 130).
Families do not need to sign up or register to receive free meals at school. We are still encouraging families to complete the Universal Benefits Application because it could provide additional money and services for their family and the school district.
For more information, please contact Melissa Cook-Rodriguez at 760-248-6108 ext. 1008 or by email at [email protected].
