1:54 Virtual Academy Students Demonstrate Their Sustainable City Award-Winning Projects Featured
Lucerne Valley Virtual Academy students demonstrated their two award-winning Sustainable City projects. The teams were tasked with creating a "Firewise" city model. The first place awards were announced on Saturday, December 6th at the competition, which was held at Piñon Mesa Middle School in Phelan.

Students in the Lucerne Valley Virtual Academy were treated to a special event on April 8, 2024. They ventured outdoors for an in-person lesson on the Solar Eclipse. Students wearing NASA-approved sunglasses watched in awe as the moon traveled between the Earth and the Sun.
